Although I say it myself, we are blessed with one of the finest Yoga Studios in the region. Come and enjoy it! The Studio is light, airy, quiet and spacious and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

I draw on 23 years of yoga practice in many different styles and approaches, as well as bringing a lifetime of interest and exploration into what it means to be happy and at peace. So my teaching comes with a unique personal touch. Grounded in Ahimsa, or non-violence, the teaching at The Yoga Studio is of the highest quality and integrity -- challenging yet safe, straightforward and enjoyable.
I look forward to meeting you!

Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai is the ancient capital on the Northern Thailand kingdom of Lan-na (meaning one million rice fields). It was founded more than 700 years ago, which gives it a unique feel, and a level of culture and refinement not found in other parts of Thailand.
It is at an elevation of 310 mts (1,027 ft) giving it a slight and welcome coolness, especially during the winter months.
Old City wall and moat, Chiang Mai

Although undergoing growth and modernisation Chiang Mai still reveals its old self in the little lanes (sois) lined with teakwood houses in little gardens, and in its tree-lined moat around the Old City.

There are more than 300 Wats (temples) in Chiang Mai, the highest concentration anywhere in Thailand, which gives the place a spiritual flavour not found in the beach and seaside resorts. Some date back more than 500 years.Orange robed monks are commonly seen in the streets, and each morning early they can be seen on their alms rounds, receiving food and other gifts to support them on their Path. It is wonderful to get up at this time and experience starting your day actively supporting followers of the Dharma, and beimassive ruined Chedi, Wat Chedi Luang, Chiang Maing blessed in return. This is very inspiring, and makes an excellent backdrop for a yoga retreat!

Chiang Mai is also where many people choose to come and study Traditional Thai Massage while in Thailand, with several of the country's leading teachers being based here. There are 3 universities which give a young and lively feel to the city. Also more and more creative and artistic people from all over Thailand are making their home here, making it a vibrant and interesting place to visit.
